Isaiah 32:3

posted Jun 27, 2012, 8:39 AM by David Gerhart
"Then the eyes of those who see will no longer be closed,  and the ears of those who hear will listen." Is 32:3

A Prophetic word in a troubled time... that in the end, the truth will be made clear to everyone.  Even those who's ears and eyes have been occluded.

For now, though, we're surrounded by fools who in the certainty of their minds, claim facts that are convenient to whatever brand of truth advances their agenda.

"For they mouth empty, boastful words and, by appealing to the lustful desires of the flesh, they entice people who are just escaping from those who live in error."  2 Peter 2:18

The appeal to earthly comforts ...

"Woe to them! They have taken the way of Cain; they have rushed for profit into Balaam’s error; they have been destroyed in Korah’s rebellion." Jude 1:11

Cain murdered Able (sons of Adam) out of Jealous rage.

"Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, ..." Mat. 3:15

Ballam's error was to place profit over prophesy -- to seek personal gain, over speaking the Lords word.  A man posing as a representative of God, who speaks the words of the Almighty, but who's motivation is profit.  He  made impediments to his peoples progress, being in league with their enemy -- the ones who would impoverish and enslave them - a wealthy nation greedy over more gain.

"Nevertheless, I have a few things against you: You have people there who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to entice the Israelites to sin by eating food sacrificed to idols and by committing sexual immorality." Rev.2:14

Adopting the mantle of piety and justice, and pretending to be a champion of his people, Korah accused Moses and Aaron of imposing their leadership upon the community.

"They came as a group to oppose Moses and Aaron and said to them, “You have gone too far!"  Numbers 16:3

Open conspiracy and rebellion against anointed leadership.   Sounds familiar, doesn't it.  Painful for many "Christians" to review.  Nevertheless, this is the truth.

"These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit." Jude 1:19
