Mt. 6:34

"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Mt. 6:34

Tomorrow does not exit while it is still today.  Since it doesn't exist, it hasn't been created -- what in the world would compel us to worry about what may, or, may not happen?   Simply put: a willful distrust of God.  Faithless anxiety is a utter wast of time.  In such waste is great sin, actually -- because our minds are made new in Jesus and our bodies are the temple of God. If, in self-indulgent fretting, we contaminate our minds, we defile the temple.

Mainly the concern should reign: that the sanctuary we worship in, meet our Savior in, and pray with -- this mind -- be devoted to holding the Lord in view.  When the view is devoted to an idol -- a home, car, job, relationship with another person, finances (new guitar, argh!) -- the presence of God in life is diminished.
