Vote for a Mormon?

Scriptural (as opposed to opinionated) discernment concerning the issue of elections, voting – Mormon issues for Christians, etc. ...

“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”  Col 3:17

“Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them: "Any kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and a house divided against itself will fall.” Lu 11:17

“Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist--he denies the Father and the Son.” 1 Jn 2:22

"I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse!"  Gal 1:6-9

Are those words for our time?

Supposing this is true:

Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” 1 Jn 2:15

Evangelical leadership has done a terrible disservice to the Body Christ – devoting pulpit time asserting anti-scriptural opinions that drag believers into wrong understanding and compelling them to vote compromising ethics.  Without discussing it, simply as watchman on the wall: we KNOW that the objective of this malpractice is political.

Believers are soiled whenever and whenever they come in contact with worldly concerns.

"The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful." Mat 13:22

I have to admit that I think the very act of voting may be defiling simply because it forces one to engage the world on it's issues in preparation to vote.  Temporal issues that are of passing, infinitesimal insignificance... compared to Christ’s commission.

The Lord anoints the leaders of nations.  It can be no good service to the Body of Christ when teachers install thinly veiled political doctrine.  There is such a body of spiritual liberalism devoted to conveying the “duty of voting” ... that the most important issues are lost in the noise.  Pastors sewing discord, hatred, and malice.  Planting the seeds of rebellion, fear and anxiety.

“Barabbas had been thrown into prison for an insurrection in the city, and for murder.” Lu 23:19

Consorting with Barabbus can lead to no good.

“...  hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions ... I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.” Gal 5:20-21

Beware!

“A little yeast works through the whole batch of dough.” I am confident in the Lord that you will take no other view. The one who is throwing you into confusion will pay the penalty, whoever he may be.  Brothers, if I am still preaching circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been abolished. As for those agitators, I wish they would go the whole way and emasculate themselves!”  Gal 5:9-12

Which circumcision?  Preaching the Law of Temporal Politics?  Rendering what to Caesar?  An analogy exists here that believers must grasp.  The Gospel is unchanging, it is not adaptable.   Those of us counseling against the contamination of Politics in church have most certainly understood Paul's persecution.
